形容詞と副詞

  1. 形容詞ではなく副詞を用いる場合
    1. 動詞を修飾するとき

      He sure works hard.
      He surely works hard.

    2. 形容詞を修飾するとき

      He was injured bad.
      He was injured badly.

    3. 副詞を修飾するとき

      I drive considerable faster.
      I drive considerably faseter.

  2. 副詞でなく形容詞を用いる場合

    1. 連結動詞のあとで名詞を修飾するとき  S + V + C

      Janet is jubilantly.
      Janet is jubilant.
        ジャネットは喜んでいる
      She looks happily.
      She looks happy.
        幸せそうだ
      He looked suspiciosly.
      He looked suspicious.
        彼は怪しい
      He looked suspicios at the box.
      He looked suspiciously at the box.
